What is in a four-game development report?
One match can show useful information, but it can also be affected by opposition, game state, a player’s role or a quiet spell in the game. The Four-Game Development Report uses live observation across four fixtures to identify patterns before deciding on development priorities.
Context across four matches
The report observes the player in their normal football environment over four matches. This lets James see how the player responds as the game changes and which actions and habits repeat.
The point is not to judge a player on one moment. It is to build a more reliable picture of how they currently perform in their position.
- Live observation across four matches
- Analysis for the player’s position
- Patterns, strengths and priorities
What is assessed
The report looks at technical, tactical, physical and psychological performance in the player’s position. It considers the player’s actions, decisions and responses in the context of the game.
The framework keeps the assessment balanced. It does not make promises about selection, trials or future outcomes.
What the family receives
You receive a one-page summary, detailed report and structured development plan with clear timescales. An optional debrief with the player and parent can be arranged.
The development plan can be used on its own or guide focused one-to-one and small-group training.
